Synapse – Commercial cum Convention Centre, Sector 83-A, Mohali

Synapse is a visionary commercial cum convention centre located in the emerging urban fabric of Sector 83-A, Mohali. Drawing architectural and planning inspiration from the timeless principles of Le Corbusier, the project is conceptually based on human anatomy — where each functional zone symbolizes an organ of the body, collectively forming a living, breathing urban entity.

The convention centre aims to become a catalyst for economic generation, job creation, and professional collaboration by providing integrated spaces for business, leisure, and cultural exchange. It is designed as a multifunctional node housing auditoriums, plenary halls, retail outlets, corporate office spaces, and hotel accommodations, all cohesively tied together by a central open plaza — the “heart” of the design — which encourages interaction, movement, and connectivity.

The material palette, dominated by exposed concrete, glass façades, and steel truss roofing, reinforces the modernist aesthetic while supporting large, flexible, and pillar-less spaces. The site zoning and circulation promote sustainability, human-scale design, and experiential movement — making Synapse not just a built environment, but a thriving ecosystem for innovation and growth.
